Drone-taxis, or E VTOL, are a new technology in development that allows for driverless urban air mobility. This technology, initially intended to allow the participants of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to reach the center of Paris in 15 minutes, is in fact subject to complex regulations, oscillating between a desire to allow a certain flexibility and a desire to ensure full safety and security. Considering this situation, the development of unmanned drone-taxis seems difficult to contemplate for this date. Nevertheless, it remains possible to dream and to pursue research in this exciting field.
